The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society Student Branch Chapter of Sri Lanka Technological Campus proudly presents KNOWLEDGE HUB 5.0. A project which conducts sessions along with talented resources to help the undergraduates to shine in their GPA. Every year it also serves as a new platform for students of newer batches to gain volunteer experience prior to examination. Eventually, it has the history of winning the first ever IEEE student branch activity for SLTC. What happens in Knowledge Hub? From what we have heard, the term “Kuppi” classes refer to group-tutoring offered in the universities by senior students to juniors, there are certain modules in every stream that are hard or not easy to grasp. So there is a facilitator who will be teaching in a way that he/she can make the students understand the doubtful sections more clearly. This will be of great help to students who are worrying about the end semester examination.Normally workshops and webinars are held regularly to gain extra knowledge. So this has started as something of a project to help students gain their GPA. But as it started to gain great reception and anticipation among the students it came up with different phases every year as a continuous project. With this great initiation good progress can be seen in the results of the students. Furthermore, tons of past papers and references to what to look and read before sitting for the exam will be provided in the phase 5.0. Not only knowledge but also effective communication between seniors and juniors is also growing along with the project. In addition, the explanation and knowledge of a subject for them multiplies many times.
