The ‘Circuito ’21 Amp up your electrics’ is another milestone organized by the IEEE IES student branch chapter of SLTC. This project is about to bring knowledge of circuits and PCBs while craving the skills of innovation. From the project point of view, this is a great opportunity for the Sri Lankan youth. Moreover, we have opened a new door for all our young inventors to nail their capabilities. In other words, this will be an inspiration for all Sri Lankan inventors to think differently and creatively.

The whole project is categorized into three main events.
  1. The Awareness Webinar on Inventions and Innovations
  2. The PCB Workshop Series
  3. The Virtual Exhibition and Competition
The Awareness Webinar on Inventions and Innovations was conducted as the first phase of Circuit’21. This Webinar was conducted on 7th of September 2021, via zoom online platform. The Guest Speaker of this event was Dr. Rangika Halwathura. The Awareness Webinar on Inventions and Innovations was a massive success as the first phase of Circuito’21. The PCB Workshop Series was conducted as the second phase of Circuito’21. The Chief Guest and the Guest Speaker of the workshop series was Prof. Ruwantha Pushpika and it was conducted as follows.
· 2021.09.13 – Theory session · 2021.09.20 – Theory session · 2021.09.27 – Practical session
The workshop series also successfully concluded as the second phase of Circuito’21 with a bunch of feedback. The third phase of Circuito’21 will be a virtual innovation exhibition which will be held along with a competition. The virtual exhibition will be commenced on 22th, 23rd and 24th of October 2021. This will be an open exhibition which will be categorized into College Level and Above College Level, to showcase new inventions and innovations. The participants will throw one’s hat in the ring under the theme of “Combating challenges of the 21st century through innovation”. This platform is introduced for all the inventors and those who are willing to think creatively. All the creative innovators, island wide can publish their creations for the exhibition under the theme that is mentioned above. The submitted inventory exhibits are judged by a respected panel of judges. It is important to vote on the submissions that have been published. Winners of the above college category which also includes undergraduates will receive scholarships packs and valuable certificates and the winners of the above College category will receive valuable awards. In detail, out of all the contestants who participated in the competition and the virtual exhibition, five innovations will selected by the judgment panel and they will be awarded the prestigious title of "Most Honorary Invention" with a medal and a certificate of recommendation.
