Sri Lanka Arduino Challenge 2024
The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society Student Branch Chapter of SLTC organized the Sri Lanka Arduino Challenge 2024, a month-long competition that was more than just a contest. Designed to inspire innovation in electronics and embedded systems, the challenge featured a 3-day online Arduino awareness webinar series, followed by workshops and webinars led by industry experts and academics. Throughout the event, students and hobbyists gained valuable technical skills, had opportunities to network with professionals, and showcased their creativity by developing Arduino-based projects addressing real-world challenges. The competition’s impact was recognized with the Best Technical Chapter Project Award at the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Awards, highlighting its success in promoting learning and innovation within the Sri Lankan tech community.
